Nobody is sure which bed is free
Bed lists live in a notebook, so new students wait while the matron checks every room.
Roll call is on paper
If a child is missing at night, it takes too long to find out who saw them last.
Exeat slips get lost
Parents call to ask if their child left school, and no one can say who signed them out.
Incidents are forgotten
Sick bay visits and bad behaviour are not written down where the principal can see them.
Create each house, its rooms and the beds in each room. Name the house master or matron.
Pick a student and tap an empty bed. Move or swap students any time.
Mark morning and night roll call on a phone. Students on exeat are already marked.
Approve a request, record who picked the child up, and mark them back in.
